Choppers, Gas, Animals and Kids

Hello Everyone.

Bucky and I sat back tonight just to relax and enjoy the TV shows while Ryan was busy playing with his friend at the neighbor's house.. FINALLY! He usually has TV on featuring his TV shows from Cartoon Network.. So we were able to get TV to be showing what we wanted to watch and we came to watch the show on discovery channel, I think but it was about Indian Larry and Billy doing a "Chopper build-off" and be able to ride the choppers from Missouri to South Dakota I think.. At the end it showed that Indian Larry had passed away so we decided to go googling his name and got to his website..

We always enjoy watching Paul and his son working on choppers on American Chopper show. They come up with cool designs and cool ideas to be UNIQUE!!

Bucky has been talking for a few months now wanting to get himself a motorcycle and license so he can be riding his bike.. Vicki and Doug, our friends in Knoxville has motorcycles and Bucky really envy them for having bikes to ride on.. Maybe he will be able to afford the motorcycle course and license if he gets money from his graduation gifts and/or someone may be so generous enough to give him a bike of his own to ride! LOL!

I have no interest to ride the bike because I may not be able to move my legs to be able to reach anything but I love watching the shows and see the designs they come up with and imagine the freedom of winds blowing the hair into tangles, bugs splattered on the helmet glass.. LOL! But on serious note, I think being able to ride the bike is really COOL!

Speaking of bikes, I know they usually cost less in gas than cars/trucks but here's a link with ideas to cut the gas costs..

I have seen people jamming their brakes when the red lights has not turned green when they are approaching the stoplights.. I really HATE when people do that.. It's much easier to just slow down ahead of time and just stop at slower pace than jamming the brakes just to be able to go when you have come to complete stop then it takes so much time for you to get going again..

I do have slow stop and slow start.. I don't care about the car behind me because I am driving the MPH sign says but I usually drive up 5 from the limit.. So if it's 45, I go 50 if it's 65, I go 70.. My kids says I drive slow.. Well, I'm conserving the gas :) Bucky drives like nascar driver.. He passes cars quickly and that probably explain why our gas tank is almost always empty :) Sorry Honey! :) Well, I gotta admit, my Dad and sister drives the same way too :) I guess I am forming a lynch party for me to be lynched by them LOL!

When we sent the boys to bed at 8:45 pm, we went downstairs because it's lot cooler downstairs than it is upstairs.. We watched Animal Planet in our bedroom.. OH, those precious dogs and cats being neglected and all the problems they had to face.. I wish there was no problems with them to go through but unfortunately sometimes things don't happen the way we want it to, even though you have good intention.. We love dogs and cats so much.. We have two dogs, Buddy and Angel and we may be getting a 18 month old boxer dog.. (I have to talk to Bucky first about this dog but I have strong feelings that he will jump at this because the dog belongs to his grandparents in NC)

Anyway, I came to this site and wanted to share this with any readers of mine that may be approached with this dilemma with their children.. I know I'm facing this same dilemma with one of my children..

One of my children has not been doing well in school this year.. My child has chosen not to do classwork and homework that has been requested but when it's time for test in classroom, the test got passed with flying colors.. So the teachers knows my child is ABLE to pass the courses but chose not to do so.. So they have told me that it's possible for my child to repeat the grade next year.. I am faced with the dilemma, I know my child is able to do the work and be able to move on to next level BUT is it good idea to move to next level with the grades that has been graded?

Till Then, M-

P.S. I have several prayers requests, if you don't care to include them in your prayers and thoughts..

Bucky's Pop has been having health problems for some time now and I was just told that he has gotten worse.. We were hoping he would be able to come up next weekend for Bucky's Graduation so we could have family pictures as well but it seems he isn't able to make the trip up here. So we would like to ask you for prayers for him to get through this and give his doctors the wisdom to comfort him and assist him in ways he may need..

Traci Cooke has completed one round of chemo and her hair has fallen out.. Please keep her in your prayers that she's able to overcome this leukemia that she's able to get back to her kids and husband..

Anita Coen, another friend of mine who has been fighting Hodgkin's diease for 5 years now and recently had bone marrow transplant in February.. Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts as well so she can overcome this and be able to enjoy her children as well.

Charlie Mullinax, husband to one of Bucky's Aunt on his Mom's side had a bypass open heart surgery last week and he's still in hospital recovering from the surgery.. He's doing good but prayers for him to have speedy recovery would be wonderful..

Prayers for our Government, President etc to be able to get back on the track and put in His wisdom in them to do the things that serves every class of people in America as well as other countries..

Also but not least, for Bucky and myself to be able to have jobs to support our family.. Bucky has not heard back from one place he had interview with last week. He's supposed to hear something by this week.. I heard back from the place I had interview with. They had the position filled up already but they said they are holding my resume for the position that may be vacant in near future.. So I will see.....

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts..

Need some receipes

Hello everyone again! :)

Wanted to get some receipes for deep frying. Bucky had wanted to get a deep fryer and we got one for Christmas from his Mom.. Bucky was really thrilled as he LOVES fried food.. We had fried spicy chicken and it was real good. I am looking for some receipes that we can do something different with frying food.. What oil do you usually use?

Any suggestions or ideas?? Any information would be appericated.. :)

Till then, M-

A post to begin the week with..

Hello Everyone!

We began the Saturday with real good cleaning of our house! It's looking so nice and clean.. Doing our laundry now! Having family of 5 is having endless laundry! HA! When we were done cleaning the house, cooked dinner then went over to Sandy's house and helped her work on her flowerbed and got rid of weeds, moved hostas plants around as she has a BIG bed of it! We were tired and turned in for the night.

*****
I dread the thoughts of gas price going up and up.. It is going up and up around here to nearly $3 dollars! Dad and I talked on VP about the gas price going up and up, Dad said we needed to buy bicycles and start riding the bicycles around instead of driving.. Save the gas that way and lose weight! LOL! He mentioned one of his friend who had moved to Arizona has started riding his bicycle to work as he lives 7 miles to work.. Mmmm... I wish there was something we could do to get the gas prices to go down! OR raise the income wages UP to be able to afford the increase cost on food and gas prices!

*update* I was cruising the yahoo news and got this.. Gas price affect poor families hardest.. I am one of the low income families and it really hits us hard.. Especially when we are out looking for jobs!!

So this email I got from Sandy really hits this in head!

This little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?" Dad says, "Well, son let me try to explain it to you this way....

I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me 'Capitalism'. Your mom, she's the administrator of the household, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of YOUR needs, so we'll call you 'The People'. The nanny, well, she works hard all day for very little money, so we'll consider her 'The Working Class'. And your baby brother...we'll call him 'The Future'. "Now, think about that and see if it makes sense."

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what his dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door lock, he peeks into the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now."

The father says, "Good, son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about". The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep,The People are being ignored, and the Future is in Deep Shit!

I wanted to share this VLOG from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia , I'm really hooked on trying to learn other sign language other than ASL! Enjoy!!

An old friend of mine when I was younger about 14 years old got caught up with me via pager.. He and I keep in touch once a while and we had lost contact for a while now, it was good to hear from him when he paged me. He sent me pictures of himself which I will post below..

His name is Bryan Wooten, when he was young about 23 years old, he moved in with us, renting a room. We became friends and enjoyed chatting.. I felt special because I had a older friend that I was hanging out with! LOL! Youth thinking!

Let me begin at the beginning.. My Dad's deaf brother, Uncle Herbert had been living with us for a few months trying to set a new life for himself as he was living with Grandma Wynn for so LONG until he was in his 30's or early 40's. He got upset with Sandy and me for taking some of his ice cream so Dad and he had an disagreement so Uncle Herbert decided to move out to another sister's house in Louisville KY before heading back home to Grandma Wynn's house. While that room he has been staying in was really my room, I had given up my room so he could live with us and I bunked with Sandy, Bryan came over to visit and discovered that Uncle Herbert had left so he asked if he could rent the room. I was really excited about moving back in the bedroom but was willing to let him rent the room and continue to bunk with Sandy in her room. He stayed for a while, I can't remember how long he was living with us before moving out onto his own. Even though he moved out but we still kept in touch, he came and visit us etc.. Now he lives in Western part of NC.. He's hoping to be able to come up here and visit us soon.

Here is Bryan Wooten's pic..

News to share..

Hello everyone!

Bucky had his interview yesterday and won't know the results till at least Friday or next Monday.. There are 8 people in total applying for the same job position so we will see if Bucky has the chance of getting the job..

I had my interview today at 10 am and I am HOPING I left a good impression.. I should be able to hear from them if I'm hired by Thursday or Friday.. So I really HOPE I am hired.. Mmmm.. Wait n see!

*****

I got a email that I wish I didn't have to get from North Carolina last Thursday.. It said one of my friend, Traci is in Chapel Hill hospital getting chemotherapy as she was diagnosed with leukemia.. I don't know the full details about what's going on or how long she's going to be in the hospital etc but I'm hoping to find out real soon. She has her husband and two young boys. I'm sure her husband and the boys are sorting out the chaos they are faced with.. Traci's Mom is there with Traci going through this chemotherapy..

Please keep her and her family in your prayers and thoughts as they go through this ordeal.. I know they will appreciate that very much as much as I would appreciate from my readers..

This brought all the memories that my family has gone through when Ryan was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.. It is a awful time to go through and I wouldn't wish anyone to go through this but unfortunately it happens every day to millions of families.. It's very important to have support of families and friends to fight this battle..

If you know of anyone who has cancer, ANY type of cancer or any serious illness, PLEASE go and offer to help them and their families. They may not want to ask for help, they may be in denial, BUT they DO need help, support and friendship in this time of their illness.. I know because we were in that position.. We were fortunate that we had both Bucky's and my families to help. A couple of Bucky's family friends donated money to help us with the costs of transportation and so on.. It really matter a lot to us at that time.. I will never forget the kindness that Ramona Gregory of Knoxville gave us when we were in PICU with NO money for our meals, she gave us a roll of quarters to be able to get something out of snack bars and drink machine and it helped until Bucky got his paycheck. It may not be much to her as she didn't know we were broke but it really helped us out.

Offer to help by bringing meals or foods to the families who are staying with the sick loved one, bring books to read, all those small stuff that doesn't have to cost so much leave the lasting memories..

*update* Traci has a carepage where family and friends can come and check the updates on her and post comments to brighten her day.. You can go to this website and you will have to register for an account to be able to view pages but not to create page if you don't need a page..

Two days of activities..

Hello everyone,

Oh boy, do I have something to post!

Granny and Gramps wanted to celebrate their 63rd anniversary and Gramps' 87th birthday by having family portrait and eating out at a resturant so we decided to set April 15th to do this.. So to be prepared for the photo shoot, we had to buy clothes etc.. So now here's my blog about the days we had!

On Friday, Sandy used one day vacation so she could go with Mom, Granny , Tori and I to Catherine's plus size clothes store to buy a dress for us to wear to photo shoot on Saturday.. We had wonderful time as we kept embarrassing Tori.. We (Mary and Sandy) got a dress each that we wanted and wanted to look around to buy a new bra and I was talking about the bra that will actually lift our boobs and looks better than having it so loosely.. Tori was so embarrassed! LOL Her looks was priceless!

After we got our bras and dresses paid for, we went to Post Office to get some packages mailed then went to Subway and got sandwiches to bring back to Granny's apt.. We enjoyed the day but were so tired. Oh! GOOD NEWS after eating our lunch at Granny and Gramps', we left to head back home, Sandy got a call on her cell phone and it was for ME! I have an job interview on Tuesday! OH I really HOPE I can get this job!!! Wish me luck!

Saturday- I got up at 6:30 am and took shower and pretty myself up (I didn't use makeup as have not wore makeup for a long time) and got everyone up and ready to go to Clinton so I could borrow a pair of earrings from Mom. Then we all head over to Knoxville Center and met Sandy, Robert, Granny and Gramps so we all went to photography studio and got our pictures taken.. You can view the pictures here..

We were in the photography studio for 2 hours! It took 45 minutes to get our photo shoot done then one hour and 15 minutes was to make our choices which poses we want in what size.. The photographer was AMAZING!! She is really WONDERFUL to work with! She has a lot of patience and STILL being so friendly and cheerful!!! I was really pleased and very glad that we were able to have her as our photographer! Thanks Kristi!

I loved that we were able to do Great Grandparents with grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sisters, another sisters and spouses pose among other wonderful poses..

Now we have Sunday to relax a bit after we tidy up the house! Then on Monday, Bucky has a job interview with local newspaper for a job position.. Let's wish him good luck! Hope he is able to get a job with the newspaper!

Smiling! M-

Stuff to share to entertain! :)

Bucky and I rented "The Greatest Game Ever played", I didn't get to watch it yet but Bucky and Tori watched it last nite. Bucky said it was a real good one! He couldn't be distracted as he demanded his full attention to the movie.. I was too distracted with VP calls and Ryan etc so I decided not to watch it but will watch it tonight when I'm in my bed ALONE as Bucky is working tonight till midnight so I should have some quiet time to watch the movie..

Also rented "Fun with Dick and Jane", It has moments where you laugh out loud.. I did watch that one as the kids were in bed! :) I am going to send this one back and rent "A Unfinished Life" as it seems to be pretty good drama movie.. Will post my opinion of this one.. :)

Mom sent this to me and I thought it was pretty cool for kids to do that! Some of the comments below that clip was "DUH" but what do you expect from people who are ignorant in first place??

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally behavior that was going on. So God called one of the angels and sent the angel to Earth.

When she returned, she told God, "Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not" God thought for a moment and said, "Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion."

So God called another angel and sent him to earth for a time too. When the angel returned he went to God and said, "Yes, it's true. The earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good." God was not pleased.

So He decided to e-mail the 5% who were being good, because he wanted to encourage them... give them a little something to help them keep going.

Do you know what the e-mail said?

ANY 911 calls should be taken seriously!

Sandy told me last night when we talked on VP about 911 call and she sent me this link this morning..

My opinion of this is that ANY 911 calls should be taken seriously.. I know there are pranks calls and some calls that comes in isn't supposed to go to 911 but to a police station but each calls should be taken seriously..

That 911 operator should lose the job! She/he shouldn't have told the child that he would be in trouble for calling 911..

You Tube

I had posted earlier about a clip I saw which I thought was of Ridor but found it was not Ridor.. I decided to cruise that web and looked for DEAF and found this.. I tried to figure what the guy was saying but didn't get them all but got a few words out of the entire clip.. :)

I am going to try to get my clips uploaded so I can have it posted on the photo blog :)!!

My day..

Today was a mixed day for me.. It was fun, crazy and irriating day for me.. Does that make any sense to you?? It doesn't to me but that's my day!

This morning, Bucky, Kids and I went to Clinton as Sandy and Robert bought washer and dryer so they needed Bucky's help picking it up and bringing it to their house.. So Dad and Bucky went with them in Dad's truck.. While they were gone, I had Justin and Ryan with me staying with Mom.. Justin has been BUGGING me to death wanting to go home as he was supposed to meet his girlfriend, Nicole.. He had made plans with Nicole without confirming with me to make sure our agenda was in sync.. That was irriating part of the day where I have to listen to him griping over and over wanting to go home to see his girlfriend.

When everyone got home from getting washer/dryer, Sandy wanted me to come over so I had to close up my IM conversation on AIM.. Went over and helped them moving the old washer and dryer toward truck and Bucky helped set up the washer and dryer.. That was the fun part..

THEN when we were all done with that, Dad decided that they were going to dump the washer and dryer at the dumpster and they had to drive to three different places to finally dump them.. It aggravated Justin so badly.. poor him.

When we finally were done and be able to go home, I found out that Nicole and her grandparents had came to our house from Strawberry Plains but we were not home.. :( So they went back home.. Needless to say, Justin was really steamed as a pressure cooker! He fussed at me.. Oh well!

Bucky and I decided to go ahead and tackle the dinner so we used our deep fryer for the first time to cook our dinner.. We got it as a Christmas gift from Bucky's Mom.. I really liked it even though I really don't like fried food.. I rather bake or broil my food instead of deep frying..

Now I am ready for B E D!

:)

I forgot to mention this when I posted this so I'm updating.. :)

Sandy and Robert has laundry room by the carport so it had no door to the laundry room.

While we were installing washer and dryer in the laundry room, Sandy said Bucky was scared when a bird has flew out of its nest in the laundry room. I laughed so I looked at the nest and decided to tease anyone who would get scared flapping my hands like a bird, Robert got bit scared as he jumped a bit so Sandy and I laughed THEN I got scared and yelled because the nest ACTUALLY had a bird in there and the bird flew out of the nest and went out of the laundry room GEEZ!! So everyone laughed at me too :) So Robert, don't feel bad that I was laughing when you were scared and I got taste of my own medicine :) That was a funny moment!

What A Dream!

Around 4 am this morning, I woke up needing to go to bathroom and I got back to bed, fell asleep pretty quickly. Often, I would toss and turn a couple of times before I finally get to go back to sleep but this time, I was able to go sleep quickly.. Then I had this horrible dream!

Bucky and I was elated that we got a check for $4,000 dollars so we were happy that it came in right time to get some of bills paid. I realized that we had only $1,000 dollars left so I wanted to tell Bucky that we need to hold back the money so we could give Mom and Dad and Sandy some money but I couldn't find Bucky but I found a guy I didn't know in our bedroom standing by the bed.

Dad was by the bed also so I signed to Dad that "Bucky's missing" and Dad said "Really?" We realized my two dogs, Buddy and Angel was sniffing under the bed so Dad said for me to leave the room so Mom told me to come out of bedroom. Dad lifted the mattress and set it down again and said "Bucky's dead, He has been killed"

I was feeling really upset that Bucky had died and I saw Sandy walking toward us so I told her that Bucky is dead. Sandy said "I know, I killed him because I needed money" I got VERY furious at her and asked "why she killed Bucky, why didn't you kill Robert?" I looked at Mom and Dad and was very surprised by their remark "Well you should share money with her" .

At that point, I woke up and I was feeling really angry and I looked over to Bucky and saw that he's breathing. I knew it was a dream then so my emotions was cooled off quickly so I got up and called Sandy at 6:30 am on videophone and told her about this. She laughed! I later told Mom and Dad about this and they both laughed at me.. Mom said she wouldn't made me share the money because it belonged to Bucky and me..

I have NO idea what the dream means or what it symbols.. I didn't like that type of dreams! I would rather to have good dreams where we are happy and contented with our lives :) I have had several dreams that bothered me at times.

Certainties in Life

The madam opened the brothel door to see a rather dignified, well dressed good looking man in his late 40's or early 50's.

"May I help you?" she asked.

"I want to see Valerie," the man replied."Sir, Valerie is one of our most expensive ladies. Perhaps you would prefer someone else," said the madam.

"No. I must see Valerie," was the man's reply. Just then, Valerie appeared and announced to the man that she charged $1,000 a visit. Without hesitation, the man pulled out ten one-hundred dollar bills, gave them to Valerie, and they went upstairs.

After an hour, the man calmly left. The next night, the same man appeared again, demanding to see Valerie. Valerie explained that none had ever come back two nights in a row--too expensive -- and there were no discounts. The price was still $1,000.

Again the man pulled out the money, gave it to Valerie and they went upstairs. After an hour, he left. The following night the man was there again. Everyone was astounded that he had come for the third consecutive night, but he paid Valerie and they went upstairs.

After their session, Valerie questioned the man. "No one has ever been with me three nights in a row. Where are you from?" she asked. The man replied, "South Carolina." "Really" she said. "I have family in South Carolina. " I know," the man said. "Your father died, and I am your sister's attorney. She asked me to give you your $3,000 inheritance".

The moral of the story is that there are three things in life that are certain:

1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Being screwed by a lawyer.

Thanks Mom for this forward :)

The Movies..

Hello everyone!

I sat down to watch Chronicle of Narnia but unfortunately my role as a Mom didn't get a break so I didn't get to watch the movie all throughout.. BUT what I have seen, it was good! Bucky enjoyed the movie very much that he wanted to have one of his own! :)

Ryan, at first was not that interested in the movie as he kept moving around, but he kept coming back to his seat and finally got very interested in the movie that he sat down and stayed till the end.

Tori has seen the movie at the theater when Knoxville had it open captioned and she wanted to buy the DVD so I guess we will be buying that then as Tori LOVED it.. I know she would kill us if she knew that we have rented it already. LOL! Tori is at TSD (TN) this week so she's not at home to watch this..

Bucky and I went to our bedroom and watched Brokeback Mtns.. I could tell that Bucky was uncomfortable watching it as he tossed and turned and looked away when the characters was in romance scenes.. Not really many of it though.. I thought it was pretty good and was not used to see Heath Ledger doing what he did in the movie.. I LOVE Heath Ledger and it was odd looking at him being gay. BTW, April 4th is Heath's birthday! He's 27 years old now..

Now I will be renting Little Manahattan and Bee Season later today and will post about them.. :)

Till Then! M-

What a stormy night we had!

What a night we had last night!

We knew we would be having rain during the night but didn't realize how bad it would be! Bucky and I was rushing through trying to get everything done as Bucky did weedeating the yard around the fencing etc and finished mowing that Tori couldn't finish the other night due to dark.. Tori started mowing and it got dark so she was 3/4 finished with the yard so Bucky finished it for her so we went to front yard and mowed the yard and was ready to bring the mower over to Clinton so Sandy and Robert could get their yard mowed also.. Dad came with his truck to pick up the mower and wheelbarrow so we all went over to Clinton hoping to beat the rain.. It did drizzle some but stopped so we were able to get to work..

Bucky and Dad helped Sandy and Robert putting up their new mailbox! While we were at this, a CUTE kitten came toward us looking SO MUCH like Monkey, Sandy's cat.. I asked Bucky if we could take him home.. Bucky said no.. :( We thought the cat may have broken tail because it was not moving at all and he got bored with us and he left following a bunch of young kids when they came walking by..

When Bucky, Robert and Dad was done with the mailbox, Sandy and I went over to her house and did some cleaning in the yard and I GOT TO GET MY HOSTAS!! :) Thanks Sandy! :) I got about 15 hostas from Sandy's yard and she still has some left in her yard that I may get later!

When we got the hostas dug up and put in a box, we went back to Mom and Dad's to help Dad move the gravel as he ordered some tons of gravel so he could set it up to build a deck above the gravel.. So Justin, Bucky scooped gravel with shovels and wheeled it to the place where deck is to be built and Dad smoothed it out to a level he wanted it to have.. We got hot and tired.. Sandy decided to liven things up by spraying bit of water at Justin, Ryan and Bucky.. Justin got the hose from Sandy and SOAKED her up! OMG! Poor Sandy! She was drenched WET! Justin decided that I needed to get some water too and sprayed me but didn't get me drenched! THANK GOODNESS!

We were really tired by then so we decided to stop for the day. It was 4 pm and we were hungry for our dinner and decided to go to the restaurant in Oak Ridge so Sandy, Robert, Mom, Dad wanted to join us so we all changed clothes and met up at the restaurant.. I think everyone enjoyed the food there.. They had calzones, pizzas, submarines, pitas, and some other food.. I was really THRILLED that they had Falafel because I LOVE that! Their prices were really reasonable.. The food was real good! The best thing is that we live like less than 3 miles from that restaurant and they DO DELIVER!! :)

After our dinner at Venice's, we all said our goodbyes and went on our own ways.. Bucky and I along the kids went home, Bucky and I got started on putting our hostas down in their new homes then sat down and enjoy the breezes. The clouds started to get dark as if we are going to have storm then by 7:30 it started to rain a bit so we came inside and watched the remaining of Extreme Home Makeover. The storm got so bad that we decided to go downstairs to our bedrooms and watched TV for news/special report and also to finish the EHM show. The thunders was so bad that Ryan got scared and said didn't want same thing to happen again what had happened last Sept.. He was afraid that the trees would fall down like one tree did fell and damaged my car.. We had tornado watch and severe storms watch. The storm went away by 8 pm and we got call from Sandy that Mom and Dad's house and Sandy and Robert's house has no power so I told them to come out here so they came to my house and stayed with me until 10:30 when their power finally came back on and they went home..

The rain and lightening didn't stop all night. I am just thankful that there is no damages to any of our houses but my prayers and thoughts are with those families who has their loved one died during the storm and damages they have received..

Pretty day so far

The news said we were supposed to have rain all day today but this morning I got up and realized it was sunny.. So far, we are having real nice day and very nice temp of 76.. Whew! So I opened the windows and enjoy the breezes that comes through the house! :)

Wanted to share wonderful news with you all! We got a call from our firstborn son that we had to give away for adoption when we were 16 years old. He is coming to visit us tomorrow! We are excited about seeing him again after seeing him when he was only few hours old. He's 17 years old now and we are anxious to find out what he has been up to all those years.. Will post more about this later..

Till then, M-
