Are you ready to ring in 2006??

Hello Everyone..

Here's my last post for Year of 2005!

I'm posting it now before I get busy with getting the kids ready for our trip in the morning.. :)
We all are very excited about the trip.. We have everything packed except for batteries and some groceries, have to buy that in the morning on our way to G'burg. OH BOY! It has gone from month to weeks to days and now it's hours and soon it will be minutes!

Wanted to wish everyone Happy New Year and be safe and warm wherever you are to celebrate New Year! Hope Year 2006 will be even better than 2005!

Was watching "Whose Line Is That?" and It had two guys picking a lady from audience and her name is Angela and she's an sign language Interpreter and they were singing funny and using fake sign language and at the end, those guys asked Angela the sign for Sorry and they signed Sorry.. :)

Oh man! One more death in 2005, Mrs Doris Jones has passed away tonight at 6:15 pm.. She died in Winston Salem hospital from illness..

See you in 2006!

Smiling, M-

Only two more nights to sleep..

Only two more nights to sleep including tonight before we head down to G'burg to spend our weekend in the cabin.. Everyone is excited and anxiously waiting.. Ryan kept asking, "why can't we go now??" LOL!!

We are preparing for the trip to G'burg by making a list of things, washing clothes and getting things into one place so we won't say OH CRAP we forgot this, Oh Crap we forgot that! LOL!! Hopefully we won't forget anything so we can have smooth sailing this weekend!

I have packed my camera but gotta get some extra batteries so it will last all weekend! :) Hopefully Dad and Robert don't forget their cameras so we can have TONS of pictures to share!

We will be leaving Friday morning so no posts from me till Sunday evening or Monday.. :)

Pictures of Christmas Dinner/Gifts opening..

Hello Everyone!

Here's the pictures of Christmas dinner and gift opening at my house on Christmas Eve!

Sandy took gifts from the bags and box so it would be on display.. I was fortunate that we had enough room for the gifts and for us to sit at the dining table and be able to eat our dinner! LOL!! We had to rearrange the design of our living room to accomodate 11 people.. But it all turned out great! Whew!

Now onto other pictures..

Robert sitting on the couch looking at Sandy and thinking, WOW that woman is my wife and she's so beautiful! I can't wait to go home and give her all the gifts she has under the tree.. She deserve everything she gets.. OR he could be thinking, OH BOY! MORE money to spend on her when we leave here for home.. Mmmmm LOL !!

Granny talking to Mom and Bucky while Gramps is sitting here wondering, what are we gonna get for Christmas?? Peanuts?? Will we be getting good gifts that is useful to us or worthless?? HAHAHAHA! They got good gifts this year! I think they are very pleased!

Bucky and Granny sitting and chatting while I was cooking in kitchen.. What did you guys talk about?? my cooking?? :)

Justin getting on Aunt Sandy's nerve?? Sandy was loading the gifts under the tree or by the tree from the box.. Justin was talking to Uncle Robert and Aunt Sandy.. What are you talking about??

Another picture of Aunt Sandy and Justin.. You can see that Justin has his bangs growing so long! He may topple over if the wind blows from behind! LOL!

Sandy, are you all done putting up the gifts?? Did you sneak any peek?? LOL!

Mom in my kitchen.. She's making chicken gravy for the dressing.. You can see the cornish hens in my oven baking.. You can see that I have small kitchen and managed to pull the dinner out of that small kitchen! LOL! It may be small but it's perfect.. It would be nice to do some addition to the kitchen but that won't happen anytime soon anyway!

You can see Ryan in the picture and you can see Sandy checking out the gifts.. I wonder if she had sneak a couple of peeks to see what she has gotten??? Mmmmm..

Here's picture of Justin and Great Gramps.. They are waiting for dinner to be served! You can see Santa and Mrs Claus sitting on the "rack" and having three stockings below them.. I LOVE that stocking because one of those stocking has that phrase "Dear Santa, Let me explain......" LOL!!

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! Here I am and You are bothering me in my kitchen!! LOL !! I don't remember what I was talking to Mom and Dad about but it has something to do with letter D I guess.. :) The rule in my kitchen is ONLY 2 people in kitchen at a time..

Ryan sitting at the table waiting for dinner to be ready so he is playing cards to keep himself busy.. I think he was playing with PawPaw or someone while we all were waiting for last minute warming up of dressing and rolls..

You are such a good boy, Ryan.. being so patient until the dinner was ready.. :)

Here's our dinner, Cornish hen, twice baked potato, shellie beans, corn casserole, dressing, Potato salad, cranberry sauce, roll.. Don't that look so yummy??

I liked having cornish hen but I think half of the 11 would have been sufficent.. It was nice to have leftovers that we can eat though..

Daddy, who has gotten a hold of your camera?? :) I'm glad you brought your videocamera and camera so we could have some pictures and tape of Christmas 2005! THANKS!!

Robert had forgotten his camera for the first time! WOW! I'm SHOCKED!! :)

Sandy signed Curious.. Now I'm wondering what she could have been talking about being curious.. Mmmm.. Apparently she's talking to me but I can't remember! Mom looking at Sandy.. Robert sat behind the table as he wanted some space from flying hands and it may knock him out and he miss the gift opening event! LOL!! No, on serious note he sat behind because the table was "tight fit" trying to squeeze everyone at the table and Robert didn't want to be in tight space.. I don't blame him! :)

Granny was sitting right next to Mom and you can see Ryan sitting next to Granny and Justin next to Ryan.. So you will see where we all were sitting as you view the next few pictures..
Ryan and Justin was seated at the end of the table on TV dinner tables..

You can see that Tori is sitting next to Justin and I sit next to Tori and Gramps sat next to me and Dad sat next to Gramps and Dad sat next to Bucky..

We had to use 3 tv dinner table in addition to the dining table I have..

They look very pleased with the dinner and getting stuffed, don't they??

We had sweetened tea for drinks but Dad brought his diet pepsi.. :)

Mom, Dad, Sandy, Robert along Granny and Gramps brought some more gifts so we got TOO MUCH!

Thank goodness all are opened and delievered so now I have less mess in my living room! LOL! I think everyone had gotten wonderful gifts..

Bucky opened the gift I gave to Bucky.. I think he was pleased.. The gift is below..

Wooden Eagle that was made by a deaf guy in Delaware that I knew Bucky would love! I just didn't realize HOW BIG it was! OH BOY! Now we have to figure where it will go in our front yard!

We are thinking about putting it up next to our deck that we are going to build this spring hopefully! So it may be up in air by summer.. Will take another picture when it's set up..

Here's a picture of Bucky with the eagle.. Don't he look proud of his eagles!

Sandy and Robert gave Bucky a eagle shelf and we have set it up on our wall next to a eagle picture we have..

Here's the pictures of each families..

Christmas has arrived!!

Hello Everyone!

The long waiting period has been eliminated!! It's CHRISTMAS EVE!!

* Update* CHRISTMAS DAY ARRIVED!! I had to save this post because I wasn't finished and had a VP call.. So here I am..

Yesterday was a wonderful day for us all!! Mom and Dad came out here around 11 to help me finish up the cooking but it wasn't that much to do! Whew! Sandy and Robert arrived with Granny and Gramps around noonish..

The food was ready so we said our prayers and thanked the Lord for this special day where we are celebrating Jesus's birth.. Then we gathered our choices of food.. We had 12 cornish hens, 8 lbs of ham, 1 lb of turkey breast loaf, twiced baked potato, corn casserole, shellie beans, macaroni n cheese, dressing along with rolls.. OH BOY! We were very stuffed and had to wrap up some food for leftovers! LOL!

Bucky and Sandy thought it was better to go ahead and open the gifts before we had our desserts because we were very stuffed so we cleared the table and set up chairs for the gift opening and WOW everyone had good stuff to get for Christmas.. I think everyone is pleased with their gifts..

Gifts that has been given out was TV, 2 jar openers machines, 2 crock pots, toaster, cookies, several shoes, clothes, money, toys, pot holders that I was making that I did told you guys about, playing cards called Swap and also Yu Gi Oh cards for Ryan and Magic cards for Justin, 2 hot irons, earrings, puzzle, 3 sets of 6 indivdual salt and pepper shakers and haircut set and I know I am missing some but we all have gotten plenty of gifts!

Well Guess what!! After we were done opening our gifts, everyone was ready to go HOME!! Not many wanted to stay to have desserts! Sheesh! BUT we managed to get some pies and cake cut and distributed!

NO ONE stayed to help with the washing dishes!!! HMPH!! LOL!! Mom and Dad had to go Church, Granny and Gramps wanted to go home before it rained and get dark so Sandy and Robert took them home and went home to open rest of their gifts privately.. Bucky and I did the washing dishes and tidy up the house putting Sandy and Robert's gifts along Mom and Dad's near door so Mom and Dad returned after Church and picked up their stuff and it was RAINING!! So Dad hurried home and got the stuff in house before it all get soaked wet as he has a pick up truck and no place to put them in the truck but on the bed of truck! Whew!

In all, we all had wonderful time with the family here eating and chatting etc.. At 9 pm we sent the kids to bed but of course, they didn't go to sleep till about midnight! FINALLY they went to sleep so we got the Santa's gifts out and placed them under the tree and went to bed at 2 am..

I couldn't sleep very well because I kept waking up to check on the kids to make sure they don't sneak off and open all gifts! Amazing enough they didn't wake till Justin woke up at 9 and got us up.. Ryan was tickled to get more TOYS!! Justin and Tori got more clothes, of course!

Now, I have tomorrow to look forward to! NOT!! I have to take a couple of clothes back to store as those clothes doesn't fit Justin! I was surprised! I thought he wore those sizes but surprised me that those clothes didn't fit him! AHHHHH.. bigger size now! Just to think about going through the After Christmas Sale is enough for me to stay home! LOL!

Hope everyone have a wonderful and safe Christmas! We have one more holiday to look forward to, Happy New Year! Oh, that's not one more because we have MLK's Day, Groundhog's Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day, St Patrick's Day, April's Fool Day, Passover, Good Friday, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Halloween, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas all over again!! Ummm, thank goodness that not every holidays is as big deal as Valentine's Day, Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year where we spend a lot of money.. :) However we should do something special on those holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day and Veteran's Day..

Smiling! Have a Merriest Christmas and Happy New Year! BE SAFE!!

Indianapolis Colts Coach family's loss..

Bucky LOVES Indianapolis Colts football team.. He watches each game and cheered when they won their 13 games and sad when they lost their first game..

We are saddened to hear that Tony Dungy has lost his son in Tampa Florida.. The Sheriff said it's suicide..

I hate this happening so close to holidays.. We send our sympathy to the Dungy's family..

Tuesday the 20th

Tuesday was a crazy day for me! I had to go to Mom's to do some stuff and to have a meeting and came back to Mom's to finish the stuff I was doing.. On way home, I got message that Bill and the family was coming to the house instead of on Wednesday as planned.. So I had to hurry home and get the dogs out of the house and have them dropped at Mom and Dad's because Brittany is severely allergic to dogs.. We didn't want her to suffer having the allergy symptoms.. So we cleaned up the house as much as we could..

Bill, Tina and girls along with Mom arrived Tuesday night after getting lost due to detour on I-40 but they got here safely.. We opened gifts they brought and what we have gotten them.. Everyone's pleased with their gifts!

Wednesday- Bucky and Bill took the kids to park and played around in playground etc while Tina and I went Wal mart shopping, well it's actually Tina who did the shopping.. I just tagged along! LOL! Oh Boy by the time I got out of Walmart, my back and legs was aching.. I went home and laid down for a nap. Bucky and Tori woke me up so Mom, Tori, Justin and I went to JcPenney's to buy them some clothes from Grandma.. Justin was hard to get things for... He kept wanting stuff that are 3 to 4 sizes TOO BIG! AHHHH!!! Tori was pretty easy to buy for as she knew what she wanted and the sizes fits her right! LOL! So we came home and ate spaghetti.. Bucky, Bill, Tina and I played Monopoly around 11 pm till 2 am.. I don't care to play Monopoly because I always lose and Bucky always cheats! I rather to play any other games than Monopoly but it was fun last night when we played together because Bucky was actually kind to me! Billy wasn't! He kept charging me 950 dollars rent! AHHHH!!! Thank goodness I don't have to pay 950 dollars in rent in real life!

This morning I woke up around 7 am after went to bed at 2:15 am so I went back to sleep around 8 and slept till noon.. We all went to Super China Buffet to eat for our lunch! YUMMY!!

I am not sure what we will do this afternoon/evening.. But I think we may play Sorry game or play Swap card game.. :)

We are so happy that Bill and the family and Mom was able to come and stay with us visiting.. Brittany hasn't gotten any symptoms.. WHEW!! :) Thank goodness for the flooring not being carpeted..

Days are shorter and so close to Christmas!! YAY!!

Cabin in Smoky Mtns!

Mom, Dad, Sandy, Robert, Bucky, Kids and I got together this morning getting ready to go to Smoky Mtns to check out the cabin we are renting next weekend for the New Year.. We wanted to make sure it was big enough for us all and wanted to know where it was located..

Needless to say, we didn't have any problem finding the place because Bucky's Dad's side of family was on the same area where the cabin is located at.. We all fell in love with the cabin.. It is very cozy and very comfortable sized and we all (9) could have space to sleep.. We want to own that cabin and be able to come and escape the crazy world and just sit relaxing looking at the pretty mountain sight right out of the window..

I was really relieved with the space because I was considering cancelling the weekend and just let Mom and Dad stay with Sandy and Robert but it turned out great! So we could all stay together and hang out the whole weekend together! :)

As you know, we almost always have pictures of any events we have! Well, this time Dad took video of the trip but we haven't seen the movie yet.. Robert took pictures as I forgot my camera.. DANG!! :) Thankfully he was smart enough to bring it, unlikely me! I forgot!!! LOL!

Here you can see us sitting around dining table and discussing what we will be bringing for our weekend at the cabin.. Food and such.. We have to have snacks for the kids and stuff to eat for breakfast and probably some lunch but we more or less will be eating somewhere in G'burg!

The cabin actually has kitchen and small space for dining table and a king size bed in bedroom with full bath on the ground level and whirlpool that has big window overlook that pretty picture up above and small living room area where fireplace is at then go up the stairs and it will lead you to a foyer where there is a small pool table and a queen size bed in a bedroom with full bathroom also.. It's real nice!! WOW!! More pics to come..

Here I am giving thumb ups for the cabin.. It's SO PERFECT!! Really! I want to reserve the cabin again for Bucky's Mom and Bill/Tina and girls to join us for the weekend! Hopefully they will do that real soon! Bill, If you are reading this, make sure you guys set aside some time to go to this cabin with us :) !

You can see Justin standing right next to me.. Can you figure what's on his mind?? LOL!

He's probably thinking "Geez, Mom why are you thumbing up like idiot!" LOL!

This is living room down below as Robert stood upstairs and took the picture.. :) You can see Ryan was so elated with the cabin..

He wanted to stay tonight at the cabin, we had to tell him he had to wait another weekend before we can come over again to stay the weekend.. OH MAN.. poor him being so patient for Christmas and now he has to be patient for the weekend at the cabin!..

Here's the whirlpool! I don't know if any one of us will use that or not! LOL! When someone is in living room or in dining room, they can see whoever is in the whirlpool! So with family of 9 staying there, I doubt that anyone's gonna be in there unless it's KIDS!! LOL! We will see..

Maybe we won't even have time to do anything indoor except for Friday evening and Sunday evening when we will stay in.. We are bringing cards and some board games as well.. :)

As usual, there is always a pose reserved for Sandy and me! So here it is! We both wore our blue jeans jackets LOL! TWINS!! :) We got the blue jeans from Granny and Gramps last Christmas and we are wearing it now.. I LOVE my blue jean jacket.. It's so comfortable and has pockets inside the jacket that I can carry my wallet without bringing my purse ;) Thanks Granny and Gramps for that! :)

Now here's my little girl, Tori! Well She's not little anymore but she's forever my little girl.. LOL! I can imagine what she's thinking when she comes and read this blog.. She probably would say MOM!!! STOP!! I'm not little girl!!!! LOL

Here she is!! Tori is standing pretty for you all to enjoy the outdoor's beauty and her beauty! SMILE.. She's growing up so fast! I love my precious daughter even though she's very independent! :)

Well, here shows the kids playing pool.. I can imagine the kids wanting to play pool all weekend long! LOL!!

Now I can't wait for Christmas to come so we can see the kids's excitement of their gifts but most important to celebrate Jesus's birth then for it to pass so New Year can come, so we can go to Smoky Mtns and enjoy our weekend there! :) Dixie Stampede Sat nite What can beat that!?!?!? LOL!!

Till Then, M-

Christmas Vacation begun..

Hello everyone..

Christmas Vacation offically began for the kids yesterday after they came home from school.. They are excited that they don't have to get up early to go school for 2 weeks.. Bill and family along with Mom are planning on coming here to visit and exchanges Christmas gifts this coming Wednesday and they will be going home before Christmas so they could open their other gifts at home on Christmas.. Ryan is so excited that it's getting SO CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS.. He has not even snuck a peek at his gifts.. He was very tempted to see what he has gotten but has been real good at leaving his gifts alone unlikely Justin! Justin opened every gifts he got! So we are hiding the rest of the gifts that we bought so he won't know what he has gotten until Christmas Eve..

Thursday marks Bucky's last day of school and he got all his grades in Friday and he passed his course! So he is offically graduated from PSTCC but won't have graduation ceremony till May! I thought that really sucks! Oh well! BUT we are very PROUD of Bucky completing his schooling and make his future better..

We are going to Gatlinburg tomorrow to look at the cabin where we will be staying at during the New Year weekend as we wanted to make sure where it is and from sounds of it, it seems to be right close to Bucky's aunts so it will be real close to his family home area.. MMmmm... We'll see.. Kids and we all are very excited about being able to go to Dixie Stampede on 31st.. We have not been to Dixie Stampede in a long time so we are drooling of the thought of being there and eating the yummy food without silverwares.. :) Their soup is to die for! SO YUMMY and no spoon to eat it with.. LOL!

I have a busy week to look forward to this week before Christmas comes and goes as usual! :)

Merry Christmas! and have Happy New Year!

To Mom!

To Mom, Since you are getting very eager about the Red Hat Club so this was perfect way to do a post for you! :) Love you! And Thanks to Sandy for forwarding this to me.. Love you too!

THIS SAYS IT ALL:
Time passes.
Life happens.
Distance separates.
Children grow up.
Jobs come and go.
Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't call when they say they will.
Hearts break.
Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
Careers end.

BUT...........

Girlfriends are there,

no matter how much time and

how many miles are between you.

A girlfriend is never farther away

than needing her can reach.

When you have to walk that lonesome valley

and you have to walk it by yourself,

your girlfriends will be on the valley's rim,

cheering you on,

praying for you,

pulling for you,

intervening on your behalf,

and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.

Sometimes, they will even break the rules

and walk beside you.

Or come in and carry you out.

Girlfriends, daughters, daughter-in-laws, sisters, sisters-in-law,

mother, mother-in-law, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended family,

bless our life!

The world wouldn't be the same without them, and neither would I.

When we began this adventure called womanhood,

we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead.

Nor did we know how much we would need each other.

Every day, we need each other still.

Pass this on to the women who help make your life work. I just did.

Good Night Shirley, Sleep Tight..

Shirley Wooten Miller was Sandy's stepmom in law when she was married to David's Dad before they got divorced.. Shirley later married Ezra Miller for only a year and 2 months before she died..

She has been struggling with cancer for 6-7 years and had been through chemotherapy but she always has a smile on her face and being very friendly.. She will be sorely missed!

Good night Shirley, Sleep tight! Your battle has been won!

Second part of Family Posting..

Hello Everyone again,

As I went along with my first post and I realized that it was going to be a long, long, long and very long post with all four families into one post.. So I decided to divide it up two posts..
I have done my Dad's and Mom's family so here I am going to do my other family, Bucky's side..
So here it is as I promised..

Bucky's Mom has wonderful family members that I have come to know and love.. She has 4 sisters; Jean, Libby, Dianna and Peggy and two brothers; Randy and Sonny but one sister, Aunt Peggy has passed away..

This is Aunt Dianna who lives in Florida.. Tori was about 3 in this photo..
This is Bucky's Great Grandparents on his Pop's side.. I have met Dad Mitchell once or twice in nursing home before he died and I met Mom Mitchell maybe 3 or 4 times before she died so I don't really have the chance to know them but I did met them..

This is picture of Mom along her two sons, Bucky and Bill.. Mom has been through so much but she is always there for us whenever we needs her.. She make sure that she's in touch with us either by emailing us or calling us.. If she don't hear from us, she would email and say Have not heard from you and hope everyone is doing alright and I would start emailing her back and update her up! LOL! Her children and grandchildren along her family are important to her..
Thanks Mom for being there and staying in touch with us! We love you dearly!

This was taken one Thanksgiving we went down to NC to celebrate with Mom and family.. One cousin in the picture behind me and by Bucky is Roger.. He is very close to Bucky and Billy like brothers.. He has done well for himself..

This is Bucky's Mom-Mom and Pop Mitchell.. They are wonderful people! Grandchildren may say different about Pop because he is very workaholic but he was from different time where he had to work to be able to support himself at young age.. He worked as car dealership man selling cars and he did electric work as well.. He has slowed down a bit due to his health and his age as well..
Mom Mom is always the Grandma type person.. She would make sure that the children has something to eat and have tons of toys in her house for the little kids to play with and she volunteers at Church and come home with some clothes for the children who may needs a jean or a shirt.. They are regulars at Church. There are a few people that comes to their house just to sit and talk with her.. She is able to make people feel better about something.. They recently celebrated their 60th anniversary at a seafood resturant with some of their Church friends along their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.. They have 7 children and about 24 grandchildren and at the last count I know about, 34 great-grandchildren..

This is Aunt Libby and her daughter Millie along Brittany and Nathan.. Nathan is Libby's grandson.. Aunt Libby lives in Florida and we have been wanting to come down to visit her and Aunt Dianna and enjoy some time in Florida.. SOMEDAY we will.. She's a Mom once again to her grandkids, Nathan and Nikki..

Millie married a Army guy and now proud homeowner of their first home in GA.. They have three children..

The family post won't be completed if I didn't put pictures of Billy and his family! :) He's Bucky's baby brother.. The picture was of them at our trailer in Maynardville when Ryan was baby.. This one has Jonathan in the picture.. Jonathan is Billy's 14 years old son who lives in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.. We don't get to see him that often, once in a couple of years..
Brittany and Rebecca may be moving up to Oak Ridge area so we will get to see them MORE OFTEN!! I really can't wait for them to move out here so we can get to see the girls more.. Brittany is now 9 years old, she is able to sign to communicate with us.. Rebecca is 7 years old and she can sign very little but she's very SHY!! Maybe when she lives close by and see us more and she will be able to overcome her shyness and be able to sign more.. Those girls are precious! Tina and Billy has been married for 9 years and going on 10 years on December 28th..
This picture of Bill was taken on the weekend when we were down in NC for Mom Mom's and Pop's 60th anniversary party.. We had such a wonderful time that weekend!
The kids enjoyed themselves as well.. Ryan had wonderful time playing with Rebecca, Tori and Brittany hung out together.. Poor Justin being alone for a while then he hung out with older cousins, Orry and Trevor..

Ryan and Brittany danced together on that sit n spin toy. It was so funny to watch them dancing and twirling around on that toy.. You can see that they were laughing and having fun! Here's another picture of Ryan but with Rebecca.. Rebecca is nicknamed Becky after Bucky but changed the u to e.. Her middle name is Marie after my name Mary.. My name in spanish is Maria so that is similiar to my name.. :) She's also excatly one year and one month older than Ryan! Since they are so close in age and they play together as brothers and sisters would.. They would play and fuss and cry then make up again and play together! LOL!

This was taken while back as you can see.. :) No Ryan and Rebecca and Brittany was a little girl.. :) That is the picture we have up on our wall so it's time to update the pictures and have new pictures of the 4 generations together once again.. Our children are really fortunately to know their great grandparents and I was not able to know my great grandparents because they died long before I was born.. They currently have two sets of great grandparents and one great Papaw but only two sets gets to see the children often. That's very sad story..

We are pretty much involved with my family and Bucky's Mom's family and Bucky's Dad is still alive but we don't hear from him, don't get any visits or pictures from him and his new wife.. But to his credit, he did maintain relationship with us after Mom and he seperated until I think around 1995-1996 is when he decided to put the distance between him and us.. We don't know why or have any explaination at all. Anyway, He and his wife have gone to Pigeon Forge a couple of times, went to Myrtle Beach SC but didn't stop by on their way as we don't live that far away from I-40.. It's pretty disappointing for Bucky because he had tried on several occasions to build bridges with his Dad but it was never completed.. I have noticed it is harder on Bucky when Father's Day comes around.. He enjoys the attention the kids gives him but it's hard when he knows he still has his Dad alive but no relationship there for a long time..

Here's the picture of Bucky's Dad with Justin when he was baby in West Virginia.. Dad was stationed in Wheeling WVA before he retired.. He had career with Marines for 23 years if I am not mistaken.. The picture on left was when he moved to Sevierville to live.. Justin and Tori posed with him..

If Dad ever reads this which I hope he will be able to read this.. I hope you would find in your heart to build relationships with your sons and your grandchildren.. The precious times you have with your grandchildren are running out.. They are growing up so quickly.. OR if you are Dad yourself and you don't have relationship with your children and/or grandchildren, please go and have relationship with them..
This is Papaw and Mamaw Carver, Bucky's paternal grandparents.. I was not fortunate to meet Mamaw as I have heard how wonderful she was and she made sure the family was tied together but when her death came around, the family went onto their seperate ways.. Bucky has high respect for Mamaw.. He would talk about her and how she would make sure Bucky be able to read books and do things when he comes to visit her.. Sounds like real wonderful lady.. Papaw is still alive and married to a lady who used to live in Clinton.. They surprised us last year by coming to our house dedication.. We didn't think they would come but wanted them to be aware that we are going to celebrate our house so we sent them invitation as well to Dad. They did show up and surprised us!

Bucky along all 5 grandchildrens and Mom posed with Papaw Carver and Jan in our living room.. You can see the house is BARE!! LOL!

I wanted to share some cute pictures I have of my nieces and nephew when they were little..

Tori looking in the crib and trying to play with Brittany.. :) Adorable!
Brittany and Becky after helping their Mom making goodies.. :) Brittany and Becky posing for Christmas photo.. I LOVE YOU BRITTANY TOO!! :)
Justin and Jonathan playing on Jonathan's swing set when we came to drop Jonathan off after our day together.. Justin and Jonathan is now going to be 15 years old.. I wonder if they are similiar in their lifestyle?? No idea! Very CURIOUS!! :)
Forgot to mention about one family member, Jo Ann.. I would love to hear from you if you happen to find this blog! Hopefully we will be able to get in touch with you! We think of you often and miss you and Samantha..
That's all for today.. I'm scanning pictures so will be posting them at later time :)
Thanks for visiting.. M-
