Here is a good recipe for Swiss Steak:
1 1/2 lb round steak
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 cup chopped onion
dash of pepper
2 tbsp shortening
1/2 cup chopped canned tomatoes
1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Cut steak into serving size pieces. Brown in skillit, pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until tender, stirring often. Makes 4-6 servings.
This recipe is really simple but SO good.
Great Idea.. I'll have to think of something to add in here :)
SMILE! Here's mine..
1-2-3 Eclair pie
1 8 oz tub cool whip
1 box instant pudding
1 cup of milk
1 box of honey graham crackers
1 can of milk chocolate frosting
Mix the pudding with 1 cup of milk then fold in the cool whip. Set aside. Lay crackers in rectangle container that you can close lid on then spread in some cool whip/pudding mix, building layers of cracker and pudding mix. Make sure you have the crackers on the top of pudding mix when you are completed. Chill.. When you are ready to serve, spread the frosting and serve..
It is a GOOD receipe.. A friend in Knoxville made this and it's SO GOOD! It's always first to be gone when it's being served at Tupperware parties..
